SILVER TONGS

These silver ice tongs, top, were crafted by Samuel, probably in the 1770s. They're about 5 inches long and contain much detail, right. In the enlargement below, you can see his mark, "SP," on the right, and the inscription "A&T," which I have no explanation for. Samuel also crafted a baptismal basin.
