This is small pitcher belonged to Harriet, who, as a teenager, gave it to her mother, Eunice (Maxwell) Parmalee, when they lived in West Suffield, Conn., about 1825.

The 7 1/2-inch tall pitcher has been handed down through the family for several generations.
