William, Phineas, Phineas, Isaac, Isaac, John, John

This 1855 diary of Alvin N. Parmalee of Bergen, Genesee County, N.Y., was auctioned online in 2003. No, I was not the winning bidder. Inside the cover is a folk art picture of a bird, which he probably drew. At the bottom of the page, it reads, "Steal not this Book you sasey jack for if you do I will Brake uoyr back." There is a notation for every day with a weather report.
